Aaron Klein

Aaron is an experience business attorney with over 15 years of experience partnering with companies and investors to grow businesses through a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions. Aaron’s practice primarily focuses on advising leading private equity and venture capital funds and their portfolio companies, family offices and other institutional investors in leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and early and later stage primary and secondary investments. Aaron also has extensive experience advising business stakeholders on strategic commercial transactions, corporate governance and fiduciary duties, as well as other business and contractual matters across a wide variety of industries, including software and other information technology, media, fintech, financial services and wealth management, healthcare, consumer products and retail. 

Prior to Zarren Law Group, LLC, Aaron was Counsel at Goodwin Procter. He also practiced law at Weil, Gotshal & Manges and Paul Hastings, where he specialized in corporate finance and restructuring, and prior to that, he was a Senior Product Manager at MicroStrategy, Inc. 

Aaron obtained his Juris Doctor from the Cardozo School of Law, where he was Notes Editor for the Cardozo Law Review. After graduating from law school, Aaron clerked for the Honorable Justice Harriet O’Neill on the Supreme Court of Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University. 

Aaron was raised in Napa, California and, after 18 years in New York City, he currently resides in upstate New York. Aaron enjoys being outdoors; he is an avid skier, camper and hiker. Aaron also loves to sing and is the former Membership Chair and Section Leader for the New York City Bar Association Chorus.
